Located in Patan, Gujarat, 'Rani ki Vav' (The Queen's Stepwell) is an unparalleled example of Indian architecture and water conservation. Detailed information for the board exam is as follows:

In Patan (North Gujarat), Queen Udayamati, the wife of Bhimdev I, constructed this stepwell to provide water facilities for the people, which is today known as 'Rani ki Vav'.
